Kylian Mbappe is fit to face Atalanta in Wednesday’s UEFA Super Cup clash, the Italian has confirmed.

Carlo Ancelotti insists Kylian Mbappe is settling into life at Real Madrid and although the 25-year-old has only just reported for duty, the Frenchman is in good physical condition to face Atalanta in Wednesday’s UEFA Super Cup, Ufabet reports on Tuesday. 

‘Mbappe arrived in a very good condition. We didn’t have much time, but we did very well and he arrived in good physical condition. Everyone can play on Wednesday,’ Ancelotti said.

As Dani Carvajal, the right-back of the Spanish national team that won Euro 2024, said of his new teammate: ‘I’ve met him before and I’m sure he will help us a lot.’

Uruguay midfielder Federico Valverde added: ‘He’s one of the best players in the world. He’s going to make a big contribution.’

Real Madrid and Mbappe will be hoping to win their first trophy together on Wednesday but it is unclear whether Ancelotti will hand the 25-year-old his first start straight away, although the former Paris Saint-Germain forward is likely to start alongside Vinicius Junior and Rodrygo.

Asked whether Mbappe could be assigned penalty-taking duties โปรโมชั่น ufabet. The manager said that job would only be given to a player who started the game.

“Mbappe is a penalty taker, he does it very well,” Ancelotti said. “(But) Bellingham has done well in the European Championship, and (Federico) Valverde was spectacular in Copa America.

“So we have a lot of penalty takers. I have to pick one of them for tomorrow’s game. Obviously, I have to pick one that will start the game.”

Real, who have clinched five Super Cups so far, have a chance to become the standalone leaders of the competition ahead of Barcelona and AC Milan, who have also won five times.

They could also make history this season if they kick-start their campaign with a win. As there will be seven titles up for grabs for the very first time thanks to FIFA’s new Intercontinental Cup.
